Mission Statement
The
mission of Saint Mary's Church is to proclaim the Gospel of
Jesus Christ to all people through creative,
Eucharist-Centered worship which empowers the ministry of
the laity in all areas of our daily life and work. We do
this individually and in community, by example, through
outreach, service, pastoral care and education, in
obedience to Christ's love.

St. Mary's is a member of The Episcopal Church of the
United States of America, part of the world-wide
Anglican

The Diocese of the Rio Grande
St. Mary's is part of the Diocese of the Rio Grande.
One of the geographically largest dioceses in the United
States, the diocese includes all of New Mexico and portions
of west Texas. The Diocese is under the leadership of the
Rt. Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Steenson, our bishop. For more on the

merger of St. Aidan's and St. Matthew's churches in 1989.
